2D Artist [KB]

Koban Game Studios is seeking a talented and experienced Senior 2D Game Artist to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative slot games.

As a Senior 2D Game Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, semi-realistic art styles, beautiful characters, assets, and environments, while also possessing a solid understanding of UX/UI design principles.

• Design and create a wide range of 2D assets for mobile/web/slot games, including characters, backgrounds, props, icons, reels, and UI elements.
• Collaborate with the game design team to ensure artwork aligns with the overall game vision and mechanics.
• Develop and maintain a consistent art style throughout the game.
• Optimize artwork for various platforms and resolutions.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in 2D art and game development.

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in 2D art and game development, coupled with excellent design and collaboration skills.

• 3-5 years of experience in the game industry as a 2D artist.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in 2D art, including character design, environment design, and UI/UX design.
• Ability to create semi-realistic art styles, and openness to exploring other styles as needed.
• Solid understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant 2D software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good command of the English language.
