Junior Shopify Developer

We are looking for a Shopify Developer to build, customize, and optimize our online store on the Shopify platform. Shopify will be your primary focus, but experience with other e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Magento, or BigCommerce is a plus. You will collaborate with our development, design, and marketing teams to implement new features, enhance the user experience, and ensure smooth daily operations.

• Maintain and enhance the company’s e-commerce system, with Shopify as the primary platform.
• Build and customize Shopify themes, apps, and related web applications using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React/Next.js.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs, including payment, shipping, CRM, and marketing tools.
• Continuously optimize website performance, responsiveness, and SEO.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support updates to products, content, and marketing campaigns.
• Contribute to other projects as required.

Skills and experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in web development, including at least 1 year working with Shopify.
• Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with React/Next.js.
• Experience with package managers and building tools (npm, yarn, webpack, etc.).
• Understanding of responsive web design and UI/UX principles for e-commerce.
• Understanding of third-party API integration (payment, shipping, CRM, marketing tools).
• Familiarity with Git and basic Linux command-line usage.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, Shopify App development, and Shopify CLI.
• Experience with other e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, etc.).
• Knowledge of performance optimization and SEO for e-commerce websites.
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js.
