Full Stack Engineer (React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Blockchain)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust GraphQL/RESTful APIs while building intuitive, high-performance front-end interfaces in collaboration with product and design teams.
• Develop and maintain custom indexers (Cardano and Sui) to transform on-chain data into optimized PostgreSQL databases and interact directly with smart contracts.
• Optimize system-wide performance using Redis caching, high-efficiency SQL execution, and front-end refinements for accessibility and responsiveness.
• Write and maintain ETL code to build out the data platform, ensuring seamless data flow from blockchain protocols to OLTP environments.
• Further optimize the front-end for performance, compatibility, accessibility and responsiveness. 
• Write clean, maintainable code and lead peer code reviews to ensure high engineering standards across the full stack.

Education & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Frontend Experience: 2+ years of experience building web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks, with a strong emphasis on React.js.

OR

• Backend Experience: 2+ years of experience in at least one back-end programming language (e.g., TypeScript, Java, Go, Rust, Python) and working with SQL databases.

Core Technical Skills

• Deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, including ES6+ syntax and features.
• Experience in server-side JavaScript/TypeScript using Node.js (e.g., Express, NestJS, or Fastify), asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Seasoned in TypeScript, focusing on type safety and code maintainability.
• Experience with message brokers, caching, or event streaming platforms (e.g., Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with relational database architecture and data modeling, specifically working with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Next.js and Server-Side Rendering (SSR) techniques.
• Experience with web security best practices, common vulnerabilities, and optimizing web applications for performance and accessibility.
• Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
• Familiarity with build tools (e.g., Webpack, Parcel, Rollup) as well as CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with finance products, blockchain products, or cryptocurrency concepts.
• Familiarity with blockchain development libraries and smart contract languages like Haskell / Aiken (Cardano) or Move (Sui).
• Experience working with data platforms or algorithms.

Gross salary: $800-$1200 (negotiable). 2-month probation with 100% salary.
