Key responsibilities / What you do

  • Full responsibility for manpower planning, budget, quality and timely delivery of output and cost
  • Review and lead new demands to the team as well as assist in develop and maintain contracts/order agreements
  • Leads and develops people in accordance with Allianz People attributes, leadership values and relevant guidance
  • Ensures compliance with occupational health and safety standards and regulations by law
  • Act as a liaison between development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and communication
  • Design, implement and maintain infrastructure and deployment pipelines using Terraform
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using Git, Dynatrace, SonarQube etc
  • Continuously improve the reliability and scalability of our systems on AWS, EKS and Azure, AKS
  • Utilize Jenkins, Nexus and other tools for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
  • Be part of an Agile development team
  • Plan, coordinate and execute project activities to ensure timely completion
  • Act as a liaison between development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and communication
  • Support and coach engineers with less experience, act as role model to engineers in the team

Job Requirement

Key requirements / What you bring

  • At least 5 years of professional experience
  • Experience with managing the teams and people management
  • Experience in risk assessment & stakeholder management
  • Experience in ITSM, ITIL and CPI processes (Change, Problem, Incident)
  • Able to manage client expectations, building trustworthy relationship with stakeholders, customer centric behavior
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture and micro-service design
  • Strong experience with Linux and cloud solutions, preferred are AWS or Azure
  • Experience with Docker as container and Kubernetes for orchestration, preferred AWS EKS, Azure AKS and HELM
  • Experience with CI/CD and toolchains like Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus etc
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and experience with load balancers and reverse proxie
  • Experience with automation tool like Terraform, Jenkins DSL pipeline, Configuration as Code (CaC) with Groovy, etc
  • Experience with monitoring tools, preferred Dynatrace, ELK, etc
  • Experience with scripting/software development would be a plus
  • Good command of written and spoken English with strong communication skills, interpersonal, oral and written

Further requirements / Additional responsibilities

  • Take active part in technical designs to ensure smooth integration or migration of systems and reduce maintenance efforts.
  • Apply DevOps software development industry and corporate standards and best practices.
  • Provide and maintain technical documentation.
  • Perform code reviews to identify technical and logical errors.
  • Strong aptitude and desire to learn new technologies and tools.
