Responsibilities:
– Set, define, and own the data science roadmap
– Build a team of data scientists and mentor junior scientists and engineers
– Build, maintain and enhance core features of Manatal including candidate recommendation engine and CV/Resume parsing services
– Design, prototype, and implement models across several domains. Manage each part of a projects life cycle, including ad-hoc exploration, preparation of training data, model development, and production deployment
– Help define and implement a framework of continual innovation within the ML infrastructure and orchestrate a continuous cycle of learning, inference, and observation
– Partner with engineers to develop ML pipelines, and maintain high system availability and reliability
– Utilize methods such as Natural language processing, clustering, and dash boarding (among others) to create solutions.

Job Requirement
– BA/BS in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science required. Master’s Degree in a quantitative or scientific discipline is strongly desired
– Experience with building and managing a team of data scientists
– Advanced statistical modeling skillset
– Advanced SQL querying, data mining, and data cleansing skillset
– Excellent knowledge of Python, including common scientific computing packages and data science tools such as NumPy, Pandas, NLP libraries, Tensorflow and Scikit-learn
– Deep knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms (neural networks, decision trees, etc.)
– Advanced knowledge of experiment design
– Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure tools (EC2, S3, Redshift)
– Advanced visualization/reporting and presentation experience
– Version Control Experience (GitHub)
– Basic knowledge of web applications and service-oriented architecture
– Knowledge of ML infrastructure (ETL, tools, new products in the space)
– Excellent strategic project skillset
– Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
– Experience at a B2B SaaS company is a plus
