About the Role: We are hiring a Full-Stack Engineer who will play a central role in defining the processes and technologies used to build applications and services for the next generation of industry professionals. As an early member of our team, you will also help shape our company's culture and working norms. This is a perfect role for engineers with a founder’s mindset.

What You'll Help Build:
  • Scope and lead new mission-critical features end-to-end.
  • Design and implement new processes and systems enhancing our entire engineering organization’s productivity.
  • Be involved in and provide input for product and strategic decision-making.

What You'll Need:
  • Seniority: 4 - 10 years of experience as a full-stack engineer, ideally at a fast-growing, technical B2B SaaS startup.
  • Education: Computer Science degree from a top engineering school.
  • Foundational Training: Experience from top tech companies (e.g., FAANG) combined with startup experience.
  • Technical Leadership: Proven track record of leading the development of large and complex technical products within a team that maintains an extremely high bar for engineering talent.
  • Balanced Skillset: Strong technical fundamentals with a balanced skillset for frontend UIs and backend APIs.
  • Modular Approach: Experience with a modular approach to building infrastructure and services.
  • Product/User Orientation: Highly product/user-oriented and excited to provide input in product and strategic decision-making.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, able to articulate complex topics to non-technical individuals.
  • Mindset: Adopts a founder's mindset and enjoys making decisions independently and under uncertainty.
  • Employment Status: Full-time employment status (no contractors).

JOB DESCRIPTION: Full-Stack Software Engineer
Company: A Rapidly Scaling SaaS Company
Location: New York City, NY or San Francisco, CA (Hybrid: In-person 3 days/week - Mon, Tue, Thu)
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Details:
  • Salary Range: $170,000 - $210,000 annually.
* Compensation for US-based employees: Base salary range is typically $175,000–$190,000 USD (for Tier 1 locations like Bay Area, Seattle, NYC) or $165,000–$190,000 USD (for Tier 2 locations), plus equity.
* Compensation for Canada-based employees: Base salary range is typically $160,000–$180,000 CAD, plus equity.
  • Equity: Competitive equity package (typically 0.05-0.5%).
  • Visa Sponsorship: Not available.
  • Work Policy: Hybrid, requiring in-person presence 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) in our San Francisco or New York City offices.
  • Position Type: Full-time.
  • Hiring Goals: ASAP.
  • Hiring Count: We are looking to hire 1-8 candidates for this role.
  • Reporting To: A senior leader within the engineering organization.
