About the Role
We're seeking a Senior AI Engineer with 7-12 years of full-stack engineering experience and a proven track record of integrating AI into product development. You'll work cross-functionally to help us leverage AI capabilities across our organization as we move toward a more AI-driven approach to product development.
What You'll Do
Work across teams to implement AI solutions that enhance our existing products and workflows.
Develop and integrate AI capabilities using modern JavaScript and Python.
Collaborate closely with product teams to ensure AI implementations deliver tangible business value.
Utilize LLMs and other advanced AI technologies (beyond basic coding assistants) to solve complex problems.
Help shape our AI strategy by identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
Contribute to our technical architecture, ensuring AI systems are properly integrated.
Mentor team members on AI integration best practices and emerging technologies.
Challenge Example
You might be tasked with evaluating how we can use LLMs to enhance the capabilities of our enterprise product. This would involve researching available models, building prototypes to demonstrate potential use cases, and working with the product team to integrate selected solutions. You'll need to balance technical feasibility with business needs while ensuring we're using AI in ways that provide genuine value rather than just following trends.

What We're Looking For
- Experience & Skills:
- 7-12 years of experience in software engineering with proven expertise in modern JavaScript and Python.
- Senior-level full-stack engineer who has built and maintained production applications, with at least a few years integrating AI into products.
- Product engineering experience: A history of working closely with product teams to build user-facing features, demonstrating the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience at companies where engineers work directly on core user-facing AI-native products.
- Preference for candidates who started in software engineering roles and later incorporated AI into their work, rather than those who began in pure ML/AI research.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (modern frameworks) and Python, with AWS experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience integrating AI/LLMs beyond basic coding assistants (not just Copilot or Cursor) into product workflows or development processes.
- Experience with APIs for AI services (like OpenAI) or implementing open-source models.
- Ability to work across different codebases and technical domains without extensive onboarding or specialization.
Education: Masters/PhD in Computer Science required.
Soft Skills: Excellent ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical teammates and work effectively across different teams.
