Introduction:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps/SysOps Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and scalability of our infrastructure, streamlining our development operations, and maintaining our systems to support our rapid growth. Python proficiency is essential for automating tasks and improving our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software deployment and management processes.
● Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability.
● Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes.
● Work closely with development teams to integrate new deployment processes and strategies to meet our software configuration requirements.
● Automate systems operations tasks through the use of scripting in Python.
● Maintain and improve existing infrastructure, ensure security compliance, and manage disaster recovery operations.
● Develop and maintain documentation and systems procedures

Required Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
● 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or SysOps role.
● Strong experience with Python scripting for automation.
● Proficient in tools such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
● Experience with Linux/Unix administration and bash scripting.
● Understanding of network protocols, IP networks, database SQL (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL), and NoSQL databases.
● Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Desired Qualifications:
● Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator, or similar.
● Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Grafana, and Prometheus.
● Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and data encryption techniques.
